Each copy of the edition, which is limited to 1800, is numbered and personally
signed by Dieter Streve-Mülhens and Rainer W. Schlegelmilch.
The printing and finishing quality of The Great Challenge 2 The Stewart Era
is exceptional, and our first book The Great Challenge 1 The Clark Era is
among insiders already regarded as a valuable collector's piece.

The statistics in the appendix are in chronological order, taking into
consideration Formula One and Sports Car World Championship races so as
to underline the drivers' versatility and "work input".

Bell, Jean-Pierre Beltoise, Francois Cevert, Piers Courage, Vic
Elford, Mike Hailwood, Jackie Oliver, Brian Redman, Peter
Revson and Pedro Rodriguez.

The Great Challenge 2 recounts the great races and their
heroes, their victories and defeats from an unforgettable period.
Expressive portraits are interspersed with thrilling racing scenes
and photos documenting the spirit of the age.

The Stewart Era contains nearly half of its pictures in colour,
which gives the book an increased quality in printing and
figurative expressiveness.

The foreword comes from the pen of Sir Jackie Stewart OBE
himself. Other important personalities from the world of motor
racing record their attachment to and their memories of the
Stewart era: Derek Gardner, Bette Hill, Jacky Ickx, Patty
McLaren-Brickett, Nina Rindt, Helen Stewart, John Surtees and
Ken Tyrrell.
